🔬 Workshop Overview
The Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering (BSBE), IIT Bombay, is pleased to announce “Exploring Cells and Biological Structures: An Interactive Workshop”, a 3-day interactive workshop bringing together students, researchers, faculty members, and industry professionals.
The workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure, practical insights, live demonstrations, and interactive learning across seven state-of-the-art CSIF Central Facilities.
🔬 Seven Central Facilities
- LSM – Laser Scanning Microscopy
- SD/SDM – Spinning Disc Microscopy
- AFM – Atomic Force Microscopy
- SRM – Super-Resolution Microscopy
- LFC – Laser Free Microscopy
- FACS – Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting
- 3D Lithography
📚 Workshop Highlights
Each facility session will comprise: 1. Presentation – Principles, capabilities, and applications 2. Live Demonstration – Instrument demonstration and experimental workflow 3. Hands-on/Interactive Session – Practical exposure, wherever applicable 4. Data Acquisition & Analysis – Understanding and interpreting experimental data 5. Applications & Discussion – Research applications and interaction with facility experts
