AHUPE GHAT
12-13 May, 2018. On bike from Mumbai, Alone.
Mumbai – Kalyan – Murbad – Mhasa – Khopivili
3 hour hike to Aahupe village (approx. height 4000 feet)
The climb is steep and long, but used by villagers to descend from the Ghats. Aahupe is a largish village with motorable road. The hike is quite popular with trekkers in monsoon months, but I went for this in the middle of summer.
